This kit is ideal for those looking to replace the cambelt on all Rover K Series engines that use an automatic tensioner (excludes the VVC and VHPD engines)

Our kit comprises of the following parts;

• Gates Cambelt 5497XS for Rover K Series with Automatic Tensioner – 26 mm, 145 Teeth.
• Genuine MG Rover Automatic Tensioner.
• Genuine MG Rover K Series Water Pump and Seal.
• Sealey K Series Cam Pulley Locking Tool.

The automatic cambelt and tensioner was used on all Rover K Series engines (excluding the VVC and VHPD engines) after 1999, before this then the engine used the manual cambelt and tensioner. If you are looking for a manual cambelt kit, please contact us
