Rover K Series – Uprated Oil Ladder

The Rover K Series engine has been plagued with a dreaded Head Gasket Failure issue (or HGF) since it was first released in 1988. Since then, many products have been released to improve the reliability of the engine.

One of those new products is the Uprated Oil Ladder. Initially developed for the N Series engine, this latest design uses a stronger alloy and additional webbing to provide a higher clamping force.

Ideally, this ladder should be used with the new higher tensile head bolts and a new head gasket.
