Red Line Power Steering Fluid

Red Line Power Steering fluid provides a continued high pump output at both low and high temperatures, and is suitable for most power steering units.

It is a lightweight fluid which helps to avoid power losses and has 50% greater high-temp viscosity with 1/5 of the high-temp evaporation found in other fluids.

With a greater heat resistance which helps to prevent boil-over and therefore prevents high-temp steering fade and difficult effort steering at low temps.

Red Line Power Steering fluid is compatible with petroleums and synthetics, offers 1/4 of the oxidation of petroleum power steering fluids and helps prevent leakage and squealing.

Red Line Power Steering fluid is compatible with petroleums and synthetics, offers 1/4 of the oxidation of petroleum power steering fluids and helps prevent leakage and squealing.

Red Line Power Steering fluid satisfies the service fill requirements of most car manufacturers and can be used where the manufacturer calls for any automatic transmission fluid such as Dexron® I, Dexron II or Dexron III, Ford Type-F, Mercon® or M2C138-CJ such as required by Ford, AMC, Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Infiniti, Jaguar, VW, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, SAAB, Subaru, Volvo, Porsche, Mitsubishi, Mazda and many others.

This fluid also satisfies power steering units requiring GM PN 1050017 or 1052884 (Spec Number 9985010), Chrysler Spec Number 5931 and Ford Spec Number M2C33-F. It also satisfies the hydraulic specifications of Denison HF-O, Vickers vane pumps and Sundstrand piston pumps.

Red Line makes gear oils for specific applications, not one type to satisfy most fairly well.

Their GL-5 differential lubricants contain friction modifiers and reducers to lubricate limited-slip clutches properly and reduce friction of the ring and pinion. Non Slip or "NS" gear oils are designed for transmission use where synchronizers need the proper friction to synchronize gear shifts.

The “MT” series is designed for synchronized gearshift applications where lower sulfur levels are desired.

All formulas have a high viscosity index to deliver relatively constant viscosity with temperature change. Synthetic polyol ester base stocks deliver excellent lubrication under extreme conditions, superior shear and oxidation stability, as well as natural multigrade properties, eliminating the need for unstable thickeners.

Red Line gear and transmission oils are recommended for passenger car, commercial and racing applications.
